Registration and networking at 11:30, buffet lunch and program at noon. Press Club will hear from Christine Flowers.
She may have been born in Baltimore but Christine Flowers is all Delco.
Christine fell in love with newspapers at age 7 after contributing a piece to the Havertown Leader.
After twelve-years of Catholic education, Christine graduated from Bryn Mawr College and then from Villanova Law.
She writes a weekly column for the Philadelphia Daily News and The Delaware County Sunday Times. In her spare time she practices immigration law, is a panelist on ABC’s Inside Story and hosts a radio show on WPHT Sunday nights 8-11. She has also appeared on Israeli television.
Christine speaks four languages, five if you count Philly Philly. She loves sports and has been an all weather Eagles fan since birth.
Christine loves a feisty conversation especially those on dinosaurs with her young nephew who is often more mature than some of the callers on her radio show.
A lover of politics she angers liberals and conservatives equally (sort of) on a daily basis.
Often mistaken for Sarah Palin, she doesn’t think she looks anything like her. We’ll let you decide.
